Supply of Portable Screw Press for Sludge Dewatering

Summary and scope

This tender pertains to the supply a portable screw press dewatering unit. The Contractor shall include within the scope of supply for the screw press assembly: • The screw press, including all items required for the operation of the screw press in the intended service; • Polymer preparation system; • Flocculation system. Mechanical systems shall include all necessary of stirrers and drives; • Feed pump and flow meter; • Control panel; • Full screw press automation and control; • A screw auger conveyor shall be provided to deliver dewatered cake a minimum of 6m horizontally and 3m vertically from the dewatering unit; • Labour, materials and instruments required for the setting to work and initial commissioning of the screw press at the Sewage Treatment Plant; • Special tools and lifting devices; • Operation and Maintenance Manuals; • Training of personnel in the operation and maintenance of the equipment; • Electrical wiring diagrams and termination schedule; • The screw press shall be supplied as a completely assembled unit in a movable shipping container.
