Summary and scope
Byron Shire Council (BSC) extends an invitation to suitably qualified and experienced parties to Tender for the purchase and removal of scrap metal and lead acid batteries from the Byron Resource Recovery Centre (BRRC), and the purchase and removal of scrap metal from the Byron Bay - Council Depot (CD). It is Council’s intention to: • Separate ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals at the BRRC and CD into roll on roll off (RORO) bins and/or skip bins provided and removed by the contractor on an as-need by Council basis. • Load and store lead acid batteries at the BRRC on bunded pallets provided and removed by the contractor on an as-need by Council basis.
