Summary and scope

Council is seeking Tenders from qualified contractors for drainage rehabilitation works located at Moores Pocket Road, Moores Pocket. The works location is adjacent the Bremer River. The current drainage system is undersized and in poor condition, which has resulted in erosion and scouring of the gully line at the rear of 97 Moores Pocket Road. The aim of this project is to construct a new trunk drainage network designed for a 1% AEP storm event. The proposed drainage network will reduce the effects of water runoff affecting the riverbank stability and shall be restored to a state where the bank is stabilised via prescribed civil works and landscaping. This will convey flows to the Bremer River where a new outlet structure will be constructed. Measures to remediate and protect the eroded sections have also been included within the project scope.
