Reservoir Road Betterment Works - YASC 2022-009

Summary and scope

Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council would like to offer the opportunity to submit a tender response for the construction of drainage improvement works to the Reservoir Road roundabout, located on Reservoir Road/Workshop Road, Yarrabah in accordance with the QRA Betterment Program. The upgrade work includes: • Removal of existing pavement and kerb • Construct new subsoil drainage and associated stormwater infrastructure • Construct new pavement and kerb and channel THE SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES This section should be read in conjunction with Section with Part 6 (Response Schedule). Construction Supply and construct all required elements of the proposed works per the detailed design drawings Landscaping as required Post-Construction Clean up of site to pre-works condition Handover of completed project including any on-going maintenance details Rectification of any defects identified during the defect liability period The proposed works are on the main road into the community therefor a detailed TMP / TGS will be required at the time of Tender including a methodology for construction. UPDATE - 26/10/2022 Tenderers are asked to review the updated price schedule and provide rates for the following; Remove existing footpath as required to the North and South to allow for construction of roadway and kerb and channel Reinstate Concrete Footpath as per quantities provided; Northern path = 113m2, Southern Path = 88m2 for total 201m2 The tender closing date has been extended to 5.00PM Wednesday 02/11/2022. UPDATE 27/10/2022 Question: Query relating to council fees and charges for dumping materials. Answe: Council will accept materials such as road base pavement material at no cost to the contractor. Council will not accept waste concrete or building / construction materials. Council ask this material to be removed from community to a licensed waste disposal facility.
