Summary and scope
The City of Armadale (COA) has a number of pedestrian bridges within existing parklands. The scope of this project is to undertake renewal and replacement works as required to improve the structural integrity and visual appearance of the bridges. Depending on the requirements for each bridge, the works per bridge could be a combination of: • Replacement of failed timber surface with EkoDeck, • Replacement of failed substructure, • Supply and install silver Colourbond caps to top of posts to prevent splitting of timber, • Repair wire balustrade, • Treat steel hand rail and stain timber posts and kickboards, • Encase steel Pylons with concrete.
