Summary and scope
Kyogle Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Bush Regenerator to: (a) Enhance existing flying-fox habitat and create new habitat over a 4.73ha site in line with a Vegetation Management Plan (VMP) for the site, and (b) Undertake monitoring and reporting, including assisting in developing a monitoring and reporting template and schedule, to evaluate site and project-related activities. These activities are part of a flying-fox habitat enhancement and creation project that will take place at the northern end of Kyogle Recreation Reserve to encourage flying-foxes to roost in this area away from sensitive receivers. The project is located in Kyogle (northern NSW) and will run for 8 years. Kyogle Council has received NSW Government grant funding through its Environmental Trust in association with Local Government NSW as part of the Flying-fox Habitat Restoration Program.
