Summary and scope
This Contract is to provide Council with the trade services involved for the supply of plumbing, electrical, data cabling, radio communications, painting and the mechanical maintenance of air-conditioning plant and equipment. It is intended that both new work and maintenance work may be sought. Council has a diverse range of buildings and infrastructure located within its Local Government boundary encompassed by this Contract. The diversity can be demonstrated by the fact that Council owns and operates a number of facilities and buildings including an Airport, Livestock Marketing Centre, Sewage Treatment Works/pump stations, Cemetery, Waste Management Centre, Aquatic Centre, Parks & associated facilities and Mechanical Workshop as well as associated Depots. The Contract period will be from 1 April 2023 until 31 March 2024, with 3 x 12 month extension periods available to Council at its absolute discretion.
