Summary and scope
The purpose of this tender is to select a Contractor/s who will be awarded a contract for the supply of Verge Turf Maintenance Services for a period of three (3) years with two (2) twelve month options for contract extension subject to satisfactory performance at Council’s discretion and mutual agreement. Service delivery will be undertaken within the road reserve contract area bounded by the road kerb and property boundaries along eighteen (18) major roadways within the Woollahra Local Government Area (See Appendix 1). Additionally, two (2) small median strips within Edward Street Woollahra are also to be serviced as part of this contract. Service delivery MUST result in a streetscape that is aesthetically pleasing with: • Turf Verges mown to an appropriate height (not scalped) according to dominant turf species present • Turf Verges neatly edged • Turf Verges being free of litter and other debris • Footpaths, kerbs and other hard surfaces cleared of litter, debris, grass cuttings and weeds
