LVRC-22-093 Grantham Scrub Road – Bituminous Works

Summary and scope

Council is seeking a Contractor/s to undertake bituminous resealing to Grantham Scrub Road located south of Grantham. Approximately 1.3km of road is to be reconstructed inclusive of the intersection of Grantham Winwill Road. The works is approximately 13,000m2 of PMB seal, 8,000m2 of initial seal and approximately 780 Tonnes of Asphalt to lay. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to engage the market on behalf of LVRC seeking Offers for the supply of the following services for the identified package of works: • Design of bituminous seal application rates and aggregate spread rates • Supply, cart, heat and spray bitumen (S0.3B or S45R and AMC7) • Supply, cart, spread and roll pre-coated cover aggregate (10 & 14 mm) • Supply and incorporation of cutter into the bitumen binder (as designed) • Supply and lay nominal 60mm asphalt pavement layer, AC14 A15E Binder • Supply and lay nominal 150mm asphalt pavement in two layers, AC20 A15E Binder • profiler is required to tie-in to the existing pavement • Supply traffic management for the various sites, including an overarching Traffic Management Plan with resulting site-specific traffic guidance schemes (certified by a TMD (QLD) For the full works requirements and specifications please refer to the following documents in the Tender Package: • LVRC-22-093 - Request for Tender • LVRC-22-093 - Response Schedules • P10707GRANTHAM SCRUB ROAD - REV D SIGNED
