The project involves the design and construction of a causeway at four separate sites on Yango Creek Road & Upper Yango Creek Road in Laguna. Each site has a unique set of constraints. Subject to available funding Council may award a contract for all four sites or Council may award a contract for just three sites being Chainage 7,250, Chainage 9,250 and Chainage 10,000- Cagney’s Crossing. The Contractor’s activities include: • The design and construction of a new concrete causeway at: o Chainage 4,000 (Deep Causeway)- Subject to available funding o Chainage 7,250 o Chainage 9,250 o Chainage 10,000- Cagney’s Crossing • Repair of any damage done to roads or other infrastructure during construction works. Remediate disturbed soil areas. • Management of traffic during construction works. • Provision of temporary diversion access during construction. • Provision of erosion and sediment control during construction activities.
