Walcha Council seeks to procure professional services from a qualified electrical contractor for the provision of the Connection of Mains Power at the Walcha's Aerodrome. More specifically, the service would consist of extending the adjoining powerlines to provide electricity supply to the aerodrome's facility and the NSW Rural Fire Service aerial firefighting base. The Walcha Aerodrome is located approximately 7km SW of Walcha’s CBD. The access is about 3km W of the CBD along the Oxley Highway, then WSW on Aerodrome Rd for about 4km. Ideally the completion of the service would be on 31/05/2023.
