Summary and scope

Walcha council is looking to consolidate their pathway network within the town limits and extend the existing network on the outskirts of town to service existing sports facilities and to provide a safe connection for out of town communities to the town centre. With a concern for consistency and integration into the current environment, Walcha Council is looking to engage the services of a single Design partner to formulate: • Concept options (on or off -road options) • A Feasibility Study and cost estimate for each option • Design that complements the landscape aesthetic All concepts and designs shall be compliant with all current applicable Australian standards and regulations for pathways. The Services under this tender include: • Formulate concept options (on or off-road options) • Perform a detailed site survey for the selected concept options • Perform a geotechnical analysis of the sites if necessary • Formulate the corresponding Preliminary Detailed Design - Issue For Tendering (IFT) • Perform a Safety in Design (SiD) • Preparation of a complete set of RFT Documents (MW21 Contract Standard is mandatory) • Formulate the Final Detailed Design - Issue For Construction (IFC) for a contract for the construction of different pathways for the sub-projects/locations below: i) In Town, Various connection (Ref. W23/71) ii) Darjeeling Rd extension (Ref. W23/72) iii) Summervale – Emu Creek Rd. (Ref. W23/73)
