Summary and scope
Council is seeking to engage a licensed electrical contractor or contractors to carry out work on electrical systems in these buildings as described below. Specific Programmed Maintenance Reactive Type Maintenance Electrical Installations The Contractor is to carry out inspections, tests and reporting in accordance with Councils current program which meets the requirements of AS2293-2011, AS3760-2022 and AS1851-2012. Inspection may include all electrical switches, power points, lights (including any sensors), exit and emergency lights , circuits, subboards, RCD’s and meter boards. With regard to exit and emergency lights, annual replacement of tubes shall be allowed for with the cost of tubes being billed to Council. Test and tag of portable appliances is also required.
