Council is seeking tenders for qualified commercial entities to excavate and backfill graves, carry out the interment of ashes, carry out exhumations, place memorial plaques, carry out cemetery maintenance works as required and provide general customer service. Bega Valley Shire Council has fourteen cemeteries across the shire that the appointed contractor will be required to service. The contract term will be for three years with the potential for two options to extend for additional twelve month periods (pending evaluation and mutual acceptance).
