MidCoast Council is seeking quotes from suitably qualified respondents to refurbish Little Street Foreshore at Forster, NSW, 2428. The existing facility has reached its capacity and needs to be upgraded to meet community needs and expectations. Utilising allocated Capital Works funding for refurbishment works allows the deliverables to include a shared concrete footway/driveway, access ramp, viewing platform and layby parking. The aim for this project is to deliver a path extension that allows the public traffic to safely and comfortably walk along the Foreshore and link to the boardwalk. This further allows public access via bicycles and other exercise apparatus. This further provides local operated and owned businesses with the opportunity to operate in a safer manner through utilisation of the standby parking facilities for their customers.
