Henley Beach Road Visioning Project

Summary and scope

The Henley Beach Road Visioning Project seeks to achieve a comprehensive renewal of the Henley Beach Road experience. To begin that process, background and underlying information will be gathered to provide Council with a complete understanding of the existing conditions of the Henley Beach Road study area. This information will guide Council (with the assistance of the preferred consultant) in developing a set of guiding principles for the redevelopment and the reimagining of the Henley Beach Road study area. This document will directly inform the preparation of any future master plan for Henley Beach Road, including the drafting of a long term-vision, objectives and identifying short to long term projects that aide in the delivery of the master plan. Council is likely to require follow-up advice after the finalisation of the final report (i.e. to design and deliver projects raised during public consultation), which will be subject to a separate project brief.
