Byron Shire Council invites tenders from electricity retailers for the following renewable electricity supply (separable portions): •Portion A: Large Sites - Thirteen large sites and single street lighting account. The resulting electricity supply agreement would commence on 1 January 2024 for a term of up to twelve years. Council’s forecast annual load for these fourteen NMIs, is around 3.8 GWh. •Portion B: Small Sites – 170 sites. The resulting electricity supply agreement would commence on 1 January 2024 for a term of at least two years. Council’s forecast annual load for these 170 NMI’s is approximately 1.5GWh. Portions can be accepted by Byron Shire Council jointly and severally, which may be for Portion A only, Portion B only or both.
