TRC has received funding approval for the replacement of the Melrose Road Bridge as part of the Australian Government’s Bridges Renewal Program (BRP) Round Six. Council intends to demolish the existing timber bridge and construct a new two span concrete bridge at the location of the existing timber bridge. The bridge is located about 30km west of Pittsworth on Melrose Road and spans the Condamine River (North Branch). As part of the procurement strategy, Council wishes to procure pre-cast, prestressed, reinforced concrete bridge components and have them delivered to site, free on ground, and invoiced by the manufacturer. Council is seeking tenders from experienced concrete pre-casting companies to undertake the casting of all bridge pre-cast components. The agreement is in accordance with the provisions laid out in these PT02-23/24 Offer documents.
