Council has completed the detailed design for the Bollon Road Upgrade to Sealed Standard. The five (5) kilometre package of works is located approximately 71.7km to 77.4km southwest of Mitchell. Council is seeking to engage a construction contractor to complete the works involved with the design drawings and associated contract documentation. This project scope includes full construction of 5.7km of unsealed road to an 8-metre wide two-coat bitumen sealed standard. Work includes; bulk earthworks for realignment of vertical and horizontal curves; placement of locally sourced pavements; installation of multiple culverts and floodways, along with ancillary works including signs and delineation.
