The project will deliver a completed Place Plan for Nimbin (a village within the Local Government Area of Lismore City Council) that is consistent with the objectives and scope as outlined in the attached scope document. The focus of the Nimbin Place Plan will be on identifying amenity improvements that can be undertaken on public land and initiatives that can be undertaken on private land that are consistent with the objectives of the project. The Nimbin Place Plan will identify and illustrate projects for further detailed investigations and to support grant opportunities. The Nimbin Place Plan will identify a shared community vision that honours Nimbin’s unique heritage and creates a sustainable, prosperous future. A series of guiding principles, identified through community engagement activities, will inform a spatial masterplan and associated action plan.
