ADVANCE TENDER NOTICE Waste Infrastructure Delivery Program - Civil Works

Summary and scope

City of Gold Coast (City) has a number of Landfill, Depot and Waste and Recycling Centre civil construction projects to deliver over the next 3-4 years. City intends to package the various projects into a single program of works (Waste Infrastructure Delivery Program - Civil Works). The program of works is expected to include: • construct 3 lined landfill cells • construct 2 high efficiency sediment basins • other civil projects such as construct green waste pads, bioretention basins and landfill capping. The procurement will be conducted using a 2-stage process: Stage 1 - Expression of Interest (EOI) Stage 2 - Select Tender The Stage 1 - EOI invitation documents are planned to be released in mid-January 2024 with a 3-week EOI submission preparation period. We anticipate commencing Stage 2: Select Tender in March 2024. Contract award is forecast for July 2024 with construction to commence immediately thereafter. The purpose of this VP event is to provide notice on the impending EOI invitation release. There is no need to provide a response to this VP event or register your interest; however, feel free to ask questions or provide feedback. The EOI invitation documents will be published on a separate VP event in mid-January 2024.
