T23/016 Minor Building Trades and Ancillary Services

Summary and scope

Council is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced contractors to perform services as required for Minor Building Works Trades and Ancillary Services. Successful applicants will form Councils panel of preferred suppliers for these services and enter into a supply agreement with Council for a period of three (3) years with option to extend for a further three (3) years at Councils sole discretion. The scope of “Building Trades & Ancillary Maintenance Services” includes the provision of “Maintenance” associated to Council’s existing and/or newly acquired buildings, structures, fixed assets across Council’s portfolio. These services are required to ensure the effective operation of Council’s diverse range of facilities and services for the community. Generally, services will be required for maintenance and repairs with Contractor’s sourced and engaged on an as needed basis. The scope may also include but is not limited to the construction of minor new builds and extension works such as small amenities blocks, office fit outs and renovation works to existing facilities. In this regard, Council is seeking established and suitably resourced contractors with extensive experience in the nominated “Service” and the associated work on offer. Respondents may tender for one or more of the services on offer.
