Summary and scope
The Torres Strait Island Regional Council is pleased to invite you to tender for the Saibai School Road and Hospital Drive upgrade which involves the construction of a new concrete pavement, as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. The scope of works required under the contract includes but is not limited to: ? Establishment of Contractors Site Facilities; ? Environmental Management; ? Erosion and Sediment Control; ? Provision for Traffic Control; ? Preparation of Road Subgrade; ? Demolition of existing poor condition concrete roadway along school road; ? Construction of approximately 510m of concrete roadway (constructed in three stages); ? Construction of kerbing; and ? Supply and installation of precast culverts including cast in situ base slab. ? Other works as required under the contract.
