Summary and scope
Council (the Principal) is seeking Submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the hire (or purchase) and maintenance of plant and equipment to support the landfilling and resource recovery operations at Council’s Lithgow Solid Waste Facility. Council will consider all options received to either outright purchase or dry hire equipment, including a maintenance agreement for both options. Council is seeking tenders for the following plant: -Track loader; -Landfill compactor; -Excavator; -Wheeled loader; and -Water cart The water cart is required for operation from 1 July 2025. The remaining plant (track loader, landfill compactor, excavator, wheeled loader) are required for operation from 1 January 2026. A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Volume 3 – the Specification of this Tender document. The contract period for all plant is 3 years.
