Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified chemical waste disposal service providers to orchestrate three two-day Household Chemical Cleanout (HCC) events each Financial Year, two at Blaxland Waste Management Facility and one at Katoomba Waste Management Facility.The contract term is three years plus two one-year extensions at Council's discretion. The first HCC event in this term would be held in August 2027.
