Summary and scope
Council is seeking to establish a panel of suitably qualified contractors to deliver minor construction, refurbishment, repair, installation and associated trade services across its owned and managed assets. The panel will provide a flexible and efficient procurement mechanism for engaging pre-qualified suppliers to undertake minor works activities valued at up to $250,000 (including GST) per engagement. Services may be required across a diverse range of Council facilities and infrastructure, including community buildings, sporting and recreational facilities, parks, depots, commercial properties, heritage assets and public amenities. Contractors will be required to provide all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision, permits and associated resources necessary to complete assigned works. This panel will support Council asset management, service delivery and capital works objectives by ensuring timely access to capable contractors, improving procurement efficiency, reducing project delivery timeframes and maintaining the safety, functionality and value of Council assets. This panel contract is intended for the delivery of minor construction works with an individual project, work order, quotation or engagement value not exceeding $250,000 (including GST). Council reserves the right to determine the suitability of works for procurement through this panel and may elect to undertake separate procurement processes for projects exceeding this threshold.
