Summary and scope
MidCoast Council (the Principal) is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the Design and Construction of the Wingham Sports Complex Lighting Upgrade. The works generally comprise the detailed design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new LED sports lighting infrastructure, including two new sports lighting poles to Field 5, associated foundations, structural and electrical works, underground services and modifications to existing sports lighting infrastructure.Tenderers are required to provide separate submissions and pricing for two delivery options:• Option 1 – Field 5 Lighting Expansion: Installation of two new sports lighting poles to the northern side of Field 5, together with new LED luminaires installed to the existing three poles located along the northern side of Fields 3 and 4, to provide a minimum maintained average horizontal illuminance of 100 lux to Field 5.• Option 2 – Field 5 Expansion and Full LED Upgrade: Installation of two new sports lighting poles to the northern side of Field 5, together with replacement and upgrade of the existing sports lighting across the six existing poles servicing Fields 3 and 4, to provide a minimum maintained average horizontal illuminance of 100 lux across Fields 3, 4 and 5.The completed works are to comply with the Contract Documents, relevant Australian Standards, statutory requirements and MidCoast Council requirements.
