Request for Tender: T10-16/17 Lake Argyle Road Improvements: Stage 2

Summary and scope

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the road widening and culvert extension works on Lake Argyle Road between Chainages (CH) CH 11713 to CH 11814 and CH 12000 to CH 15173 as per the Works Specification, the Technical Specification and design drawings. The location of Lake Argyle Road is considered remote and therefore both Section 4.1 General Conditions of Works and Section 4.2 General Conditions of Works for Remote Areas will apply to this Contract. The Lake Argyle Road Rehabilitation Contract will consist of the mandatory activity area detailed in Part 6.3.4 Table 1. The Principal reserves the right, subject to the Principal’s budget, to include one or multiple activity areas detailed in Part 6.3.4 Tables 2 or 3. The Works include the mandatory activity areas detailed in Table 1, with the optional addition of one or multiple activity area/s in Tables 2 or 3: (a) Table 1 - Road widening and culvert extension Works between CH 12000 to CH 15076; (b) Table 2 – Floodway No 4 redevelopment between CH 11713 and CH 11814; and (c) Table 3 – Floodway No 5 redevelopment between CH 15076 and CH 15173. Clarification to tender details must be in writing and sought via the Shire’s VendorPanel website, prior to 2:00pm, Thursday 9 March 2017. Tenders must be submitted via the Shire’s VendorPanel website www.vendorpanel.com.au/swek The Deadline for submissions is 2:00pm (WST), Friday 17 March 2017. Responses submitted by facsimile, email, mail or hand delivery will not be accepted. Late tenders will not be accepted. The lowest, or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. Any potential tenderer canvassing Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley Officers will be disqualified from the tender process.
