The precast pile cap element is supported by four micropiles underneath which are used as a foundation to support the tower erection and serviceability. The precast unit measures 4210mm in length, 1300mm in width and 800mm in height, with an approximate weight of 10 tons. It features four conical openings for micropile installation and embedded rag bolts for attaching tower leg stubs.
