Summary and scope
In May 2025 MidCoast Council (MCC) encountered a record breaking flood event severely impacting critical infrastructure which is now eligible for replacement under the NSW Reconstruction Authority (NSW RA) guidelines. MCC has completed detailed investigations, designs, TfNSW specifications, and now seeks tender from suitably qualified and experienced civil contractors to replace Tiri Bridge Tiri NSW 2424. Tiri bridge is located approx. 50min drive west of Taree spanning the Manning River and is accessed via Nowendoc Rd and Tiri Rd. A temporary limited structure has been reinstated to provide community connectivity.Construction commencement is subject to receipt of suitable tender and NSW RA construction funding approvals.
