Summary and scope

Penrith City Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to prepare an open space masterplan for RE1 Public Recreation zoned land in the Mamre Road Precinct. An open space masterplan is needed to ensure effective integration and connectivity of stormwater and open space assets and to establish the vision and role of the broader open space corridor. The masterplan would include two stages: Phase 1 would focus on the alignment of stormwater and open space assets. Phase 2 would establish the vision for the remaining open space land. A detailed description of the works is provided in the RFQ attachments. PLEASE be advised. All of the subject land is currently in private ownership which means no site access is available and no survey plans are available. The Scope of Services refers to a 'survey plan' being included in the fee proposal. A land survey is not necessary - rather consultants shall use other available information, e.g. contours.
