Upper Cherry Tree Road Landslip Design & Construction

Summary and scope

This tender has been called to engage a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to design and construct road repairs to a landslip on Upper Cherry Tree Road. Following the February and March 2022 floods, Council constructed a bypass around the slip to reinstate access for residents and property owners north of the slip. Essential Public Asset Restoration (EPAR) Claims have been made for the repair of flood damage to this site under NSW Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). The Northern Rivers Local Government Development Design and Construction Manual is a collaboration between Lismore City Council, Ballina Shire Council, Kyogle Shire Council, Richmond Valley Council, Clarence Valley Council and Byron Shire Council. It serves as a resource that provides uniform development standards across the Northern Rivers area through a comprehensive set of guidelines for design and construction of development infrastructure.
